Situated at the top of the Beaufort Staircase in the centre of the School, Field House is a very busy, happy and talented House, comprising around 60 day pupils, supported by a committed and very experienced House Tutor Team. The Housemaster's aim is that each boy finds at least one interest or activity that he is passionate about during his time at Dean Close.
The Housemaster, Paul Montgomery, has been at Dean Close since 1991 and in charge of Field House since 2005. He is married with three young daughters and is a member of the History Department. The House Prefects and the House Tutors assist the Housemaster in looking after the welfare of the boys.
There is a great spread of gifts within the House. Presently there are some very talented musicians, actors and choristers. The House also has a fine sporting tradition and there have been a number of recent academic successes.
