Leadership Course

The Sixth Form Leadership Course is held over a two day period in the Trinity term, after A/AS level examinations, in the Lower Sixth Form. The intention of the Course is to encourage Sixth Formers to think about taking responsibility, improve the quality of decision-making and evaluate the consequences of actions. While the main focus is on how they function in a team, leadership skills are given importance.

Group sessions are very much interactive and focus, amongst other things, on the following:

  • Team Dynamics
  • Talking and Listening
  • Achieving tasks through people
  • How people change and grow
  • How teams build
  • Leadership styles and behaviours
  • Support, commitment, motivation
  • Securing continuous improvement
