Dean Close School leads the way in educating young people, providing unique opportunities and a vibrant environment in which to nurture individual interests and academic excellence.
The Dean Close community has been incredibly supportive of our efforts in this aim. This community is made up of thousands of people ranging from those who live here in Cheltenham to people all over the world. In fact everyone for whom the School is, or has been, an important part of their lives.
This includes former pupils, parents past and present, grandparents, staff and friends of the School. Keeping in touch and feeling part of School life is important wherever you are and many friends want to maintain links and the sense of belonging to something special.
By working closely with our community we can together look at specific financial needs and fundraising projects for the future. Dean Close has no endowment or vast reserves so the challenge of maintaining our reputation and position of being one of the leading co-educational schools in the country is a significant one.
With involvement and support from everyone, we can be certain of ensuring that our pupils take pride in the ongoing success of the School. They too will develop loyalty and passion for the School and the tradition of benefaction that has enabled Dean Close to build new facilities, purchase essential equipment and support individuals in need for over 125 years.
