Performing

There are plenty of opportunities for all our pupils to perform, which we actively encourage as this helps develop confidence, whether they have already reached an accomplished Grade V or are in the early weeks of learning a new instrument.

Internal opportunities
- 3 Major School ensemble concerts each year.
- Regular lunchtime performance platforms for individual performers.
- Informal House Tea Time Concerts, a great opportunity for that first performance.
- Scholars' Concerts. An opportunity for our music scholars to host events showcasing their talents.
- School Play. The department regularly works with the Drama department to produce plays and musicals. Most recently, Joseph, The Wizard of Oz, Beauty and the Beast and The Railway Children.

Recent performances external

- Chamber Choir: Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana
