We are all super busy at School and our parents are super busy too. With Mother’s Day approaching at the end of the month now is a great time to surprise your mum (and your dad) by being helpful at home. It will bring a smile to their faces, make you feel good and you never know you might learn a new skill.
- Help with the dishes or load the dishwasher
- Make breakfast in bed for your parents
- Hoover the floor
- Playing nicely with your siblings
- Cutting the lawn (if allowed to) or just de-weeding the garden, I’m sure Mr Shelley would be proud!
- Wash the car (but do be careful cars are expensive)
- Make dinner and clean up afterwards
- Write a letter to a relative
- Tidy your bedroom
- Tidy your brother or sisters bedroom!
- Treat people the way you want to be treated
- Say thank you for the things you take for granted, such as dinner, hot water, being allowed to watch what you would like on television.
