The Year 10 Classicists enjoyed a trip to the Roman Baths at Bath on Tuesday May 23rd. Those studying for their GCSE in Classical Civilisation took the opportunity to explore the best preserved baths complex in northern Europe. Theartefacts on display in the museum offer a fascinating glimpse of life in a Romano-British townin which Roman deities were fused with local Celtic gods and goddesses. The pupils learnt a great deal from their visit, some of whomwere brave enough to trya glass of the famous spa water from the Pump Rooms! Yuck!
