At the end of term, the Pre-Prep held their annual Christingle service in the school chapel, and we were delighted that the service was supported by many parents, friends and invited guests. It is a very special service and all the pupils enjoy taking their Christingle orange with them to the chapel, and watching some of them being lit at the front of the chapel. Mrs Talbot explained the meaning of the Christingle orange with the help of some of our oldest pupils, and prayers were also led by Year Two pupils. The Pre-Prep choir sang ‘Children of Light’ beautifully, and we were thrilled that once again the Tewkesbury Abbey Choristers of Dean Close Prep School joined us to sing.

It was exciting that this year for the first time, our Pre-Prep orchestra, ‘The Squirrel Strings’, played at the beginning of the service introducing our firsthymn, ‘Silent Night’.
