For the third year running, Dean Close pupils and staff dug out their Christmas jumpers (some more tasteful than others)to raise money for charity in an atmosphere of festive fun.The Senior School raised over £500 for Sam’s Trust, a local charity who raise funds to create nicer surroundings for teenagers who have tospend time in hospital.
The annual mufti day is a great way to kick off the festive season. The School was filled with colour and glitter, from the classic Fairisle jumper to more ostentatious knits sporting flashing lights and music. The Warden’s jumper even had a roaring fire!
After a busy Michaelmas Term it was wonderful to see everyone getting into the spirit of the season, spreading comfort and joy in true Dean Close fashion.
