The new Leiths Confident Cooks Course at Dean Close is well underway and students have already mastered a variety of recipes including salmon with a parsleyand lime crust, chicken with a tomato and olive sauce,raspberry and amoretti trifles, and white chocolate and cranberry cookies.​The students all enjoy sitting down after the sessionto share what they have made as a ‘family meal’ where they can wind down after a hard day’s lessons and enjoy a well-earned chance to relax and chat. There are many delights in the weeks ahead to master, including fresh handmade ravioli,Thai green curry and chocolate roulade, and excitement is already building for the ‘Christmas Dinner with all the trimmings’ they are going to make for friends at the end of term.
