We ask that all families follow the guidance and help us to ensure that restrictions can continue to ease; thank you for all your support with this so far. One area which I have been asked about and has caused some confusion is the rule of 6 or 2 households and how it applies to children who at school are in the same bubble. I can confirm that although children are in a bubble at school, the rules still apply when meeting up outside school so families should continue to follow this:
You can meet up outdoors with friends and family you do not live with, either:
- in a group of up to 6 from any number of households (children of all ages count towards the limit of 6)
- in a group of any size from up to two households (each household can include an existing support bubble, if eligible)
