Track and Trace at the start of the summer holidays
Following Government guidance, parents need to let the school know if your son or daughter tests positive for coronavirus during the first 48 hours of the summer holiday, i.e. up to 12 noon on Sunday 4th July. If this occurs, you should email the school: firstname.lastname@example.org and ring the DCPPS office number on 01242 258079. The school will assist in identifying close contacts and advising self-isolation in line with Government guidance, as the individual may have been infectious whilst in school. This means you may be contacted by the school to inform you that your son or daughter needs to self-isolate.
Where a pupil or staff member tests positive for coronavirus (COVID-19), having developed symptoms more than 48 hours since being in school, the school should not be contacted. Parents and carers should follow contact tracing instructions provided by NHS Test and Trace.
