On Thursday we were treated to a wonderful informal music concert.  We were delighted to have 19 performers keen to share their progress with us – from those who were taking their first steps in their musical career to children who have been learning for several years.  It was particularly exciting to have our Reception String Starter group give their first ever performance and get the concert off to a fantastic start!  We enjoyed well known pieces such as ‘Old MacDonald’  and ‘Mary had a little Lamb’  as well as some super new pieces such as ‘Forest Drums’ and ‘Easter Bunny’!

This was a super opportunity for children to perform and they all played with great enthusiasm, confidence and enjoyment.    The concert has been now uploaded to the Assemblies folder on Google Classroom – well done to all the fantastic performers and special thanks to the Carducci Quartet and to all our music teachers for all their support, inspiration and wonderful encouragement of music-making in our school.
