Activities for next term

At the beginning of Week 1 next term, pupils in all year groups will be given a list of activities to choose from. There will be a range of musical, sporting, cerebral and creative activities provided. All of these will be at 4pm on a Monday (CU and some sporting activities only), Tuesday, Thursday or Friday (some sporting activities only). Music ensembles will be at lunchtimes. Children will then choose an activity or activities during Week 1, before the official start of all activities in Week 2. However, please note that most Music activities will start in Week 1 and pupils should already know what they are involved in.

1-to-1 Device scheme for pupils in Years 5, 6 and 7 – Chromebook Update

It will very soon be the Trinity Term and our introduction of Chromebook devices for pupils in Years 5 – 7. Thank you to all parents who have managed to organise a device so far. We are excited about the new learning opportunities that these will bring.

  • If you have used the Edutech Portal:

The devices are due to be with us by the end of the Easter break. As long as this ETA is not delayed, the device will be issued to your child on day one of the Trinity Term.

  • If you purchased a device yourself:

In the final week of the Easter break, we will be offering a ‘while you wait’ service for the installation of the licence. You will need to bring the device to the Prep School front office. These install sessions will run on the following dates:

  • Wednesday 7th April 9am – 12pm
  • Tuesday 13th April 9am – 4pm
  • Thursday 15th April 2 – 4 pm
  • Boarders on Tuesday 20th April, once pupils are in school

If this isn’t convenient, please do let us know and we will look at an alternative option. You can purchase a Google Device Management Licence through Eclipse Digital Media. When ordering, you need to choose the education version and specify the domain ( in the ‘Additional Information’ window at checkout. If you have purchased a licence, please bring documentation/proof of purchase with you.

  • If you have not yet organised a device for the Trinity term:

If you have not yet purchased a device, it isn’t too late. The device should be a Chromebook device. It should be capable of running the Chrome Device Management License. If you ask the retailer, they will hopefully be able to tell you about this or you can refer to this list (it isn’t exhaustive). If your child is unlikely to have a device at the start of the Trinity Term, please do let us know.

  • All Parents of pupils in Years 5 – 7:

Please take some time to read through and complete this Acceptable Usage Policy for the introduction of Chromebook Devices.
