Parents Questionnaire

Highlights from recent DCPS parents’ questionnaire. Feedback and details of any changes will be shared with DCPS parents next week.
  • 78% of DCPS families replied

  • 50% of responding families are considered to be critical workers

  • 82% feel that the balance of day is appropriate (14% undecided)

  • 80% happy with school maintaining standards including uniform (10% undecided)

  • 75% feel that their child is taking remote learning in their stride (13% thriving on it, 12% have concerns)

  • 32% would like to have more free time in the school day, 53% would not

  • 78% admit that screen time is more that they like, but happy to put up with it

  • 86% think that the start of day with form teacher or tutor is vital

  • 80% feel that DCPS provision during Lockdown 3 is better than Lockdown 1 (18% new and so unable to compare)

In PSHCE we will be doing a series of activities in lessons throughout the week to highlight the importance of identifying fake news and information on the net.  The theme is creating a better internet, one in which we can trust.
