Uniform update

It has been fantastic to see pupils back in school uniform this week after so long of it sitting in drawers at home. They all look very smart and have adjusted to the new routines easily. Unsurprisingly however, one or two things have not gone quite as planned so please see clarification for two issues:

  • Forest school kit

To ease the amount of kit being brought in and stored pupils should continue to wear games kit for forest school. However, as the weather continues to get colder they will need more layers, as well as hats, scarves and gloves and of course waterproof trousers, coats and wellies. These extras should be brought to school on the day of forest school in a ‘bag for life’ type of bag with wellies in another bag inside, so that everything is kept together. These should go back home the same day please.

  • Swimming in PE

As stated in the overview grid sent out, if pupils are doing swimming for their PE lesson then they do NOT need PE kit.  They should wear uniform with their swimming kit in their swim bag as usual.
