End of Term Plans

Puzzlewood – Year 3 Expedition Day

On Monday 28th June all Year 3 pupils will be taken on an expedition to Puzzlewood. The trip will take place during the school day and is an ideal opportunity to undertake a minor expedition as a year group.

Essential Information:

Equipment:

Small rucksack

Sun hat

Cagoule or waterproof

Sun cream

It is essential to bring a water bottle

£3 maximum for an ice cream

Clothing:

The children should wear old clothes: T-shirt; Jumper; Shorts; Tracksuit bottoms which can be slipped on/off over shorts (according to weather conditions) Training shoes in good condition or walking boots.

Packed lunches will be provided. If your child needs an inhaler or any other medication, please make sure they bring it into school and hand it to their form teacher.

Symmonds Yat – Year 4 Expedition Day

On Monday 28th June all Year 4 pupils will be taken on an expedition to a walk next to the river Wye at Symmonds Yat. The trip will take place during the school day and is an ideal opportunity to undertake a minor expedition as a year group. Pick up at the end of the trip will be at 4.00pm.

Equipment:

Small rucksack

Sun hat

Cagoule or waterproof

Sun cream

It is essential to bring a water bottle as it will be a long day

£3 maximum for an ice cream

Clothing:

The children should wear old clothes: T-shirt; Jumper; Shorts; Tracksuit bottoms which can be slipped on/off over shorts (according to weather conditions) Training shoes in good condition or walking boots.

Packed lunches and an extra bottle of water will be provided. If your child needs an inhaler or any other medication, please make sure they bring it into school and hand it to Miss Fletcher.

Cleeve Hill  – Year 5 Expedition Day

On Monday 28th June all Year 5 pupils will be taken on an expedition to walk up Cleeve Hill. The trip will take place during the school day and is an ideal opportunity to undertake a minor expedition as a year group.
