Our community gathered on September 14th 2014 to mark the one hundred years that had passed, to the day, since Lieutenant George Birch died aged 19. He was the first Old Decanian to die in WW1.

On September 16th 2018 we will revisit this commemorative event and mark the sacrifices made by our Dean Close forebears. Old and current Decanians will take to the Bacon Theatre stage to remember those who gave their lives in WWI in what promises to be a moving and truly one-of-a-kind performance.

You are invited to join us at

Dean Close Remembers
