2018 will be the second time the Dean Close Foundation has organised a Community Fireworks Display.  It is an event popular across the age groups, takes place as pupils return to school after their much needed half term break and will launch the second half of term with a mighty bang!

We have set up this web page to offer more detailed information which we hope you will find useful.

Parking will be available in the following areas as per site plan below –

  • Turner Hall car park off Lansdown Road (at the back of Rickerby) – for Dean Close staff ONLY
  • Humpty Dumpty
  • Netball courts behind Music School
  • Estates car park
  • Astros

NB parking is prohibited outside DCPS, except for DCPS boarders returning with their parents.
Parking is also prohibited on the Sports Hall drive.

Please be aware that there is a major event on at the Bacon Theatre so parking will be at a premium.  If you are local and could walk to Big Field, this should be your preferred option.

The following pedestrian gates will be open & marshalled from 6.30pm –

  • Turner Hall car park behind Rickerby

These will locked 5 mins before fire up time for safety reasons and entrance / exit will not be possible until the fireworks display has finished.
