I am pleased that those pupils not undertaking their end of year examinations  were able to visit the Cheltenham Science Festival. The children visited a vast range of interactive exhibits and displays covering this year’s theme of ‘Health and Wellbeing’. The Dean Close stand asked visitors to contemplate ‘Foods for the Future’, as less environmentally impactful food production techniques are sought. One method is the farming and consumption of insects, which hardy festival-goers were challenged to sample and which gave plenty of food for thought.
