The Flying Theatre Company returned to Dean Close to stage “Bon Voyage”, a fun, interactive and educational short French play. Year 8 and 9 pupils attended the performance to advance their French skills and to leave them dreaming of Biarritz beaches and sunnier climes.

Bon Voyage tells the story of two cousins, Pierre and Lola, who fly to the sunny south of France for a surfing holiday. Pierre has always dreamed about catching the ultimate wave, but getting there seems to be a struggle for his simple soul.

Head of Modern Languages, Chris Hooper, said: “It was a pleasure to welcome The Flying Theatre Company back to Dean Close. The show was just as educational and funny as I remembered, and the pupils really enjoyed learning through theatre”.
