Please join us at our EXHIBITION & OPEN STUDIO PRIVATE VIEW taking place on Monday 25th November from 4.15-6.30pm.

This event takes place in the Art School where guests will be able to view an Exhibition of Year 10 GCSE Artwork which will include examples of drawing, painting, ceramic sculpture, digital photography and print-making.  Year 10 and 11 Art Scholars will be on hand to guide visitors around the department and talk to them about their GCSE course.  The Sixth Form will also be there, working in their studio spaces and ready discuss their A level work and experiences of Art at Dean Close.

Art is a very popular and successful subject at Dean Close with a strong tradition of great results.  Last summer was no exception with 79% of GCSE pupils achieving grades 9-7 (with over half gaining a 9) and at A level 78% of pupils achieved A*/A.

The exhibition will provide an excellent example of the breadth and calibre of Art and Design at the Dean Close and is a great opportunity to see a colourful range of work from such young talent.  Drinks and nibbles will be served throughout the evening and we hope to see you there.
