Two sang ‘H20′ and ‘Turn on the Tap’ which underlinedthe message – that we are so lucky to have fresh, clean water. Finally the whole school and audience completed celebrations by singing ‘Water of Life’ together.

Dr Carolyn Shelley, Headmistress of the Pre-Prep, explained, “Harvest time is a wonderful opportunity for pupils to be thankful for allthey have – including good food and fresh water and to consider the importance of water both in our everyday lives, in farming and in industry. This year we decided to
have a harvest collection for the charity WaterAid by collecting change in empty water bottles.
This gave the children a chance to think about others not as lucky as themselves, and to support
children across the world with the gift of fresh water. We hope to have raised enough money to
provide a well and transform a community.”
