Fifth Form pupil Molly Davies has qualified for Horse of the Year Show in the 1.35m competition, coming second at Weston Lawns on her pony Cuffesgrange For Sure.

Fleur Cradock, Equestrian Manager, said “This is great news for Molly and performing so well at a European Pony Trial puts her in a very good position for future selections”.

The School’s equestrian success continued with team mates Lydia Ward, Emma Williams and Mollie Tice, all qualifying for the NSEA Nationals in the 1-1.05m JwS (Jumping with Style). The Dean Close team won their class at the St Mary’s Calne Show in April to win a place at the National competition which will take place in October. It was a great display by all of the team to secure the win over such a tricky course that had problems for so many of the other teams.

Lydia Ward also completed a great round to qualify as an individual for the JwS. Lydia finished second in the class overall on her pony, Kiltroms Woodie Jumpit, to qualify for the Nationals.
