winningartistswere allowed to explore the balloon basket, so they were all very
excited. One of the winning pupils said, “I have always wanted to go in a hot air
balloon, the basket was much bigger than I imagined. I was really hoping it would
accidently take off and we could fly away.”
At lunchtime pupils were treated to an international menu including dishes such as steak pie, mash and peas from England, tandoori chicken and lamb rogan josh from India and ‘mac and cheese’ from America.
Palmer & Howells provide exceptional school meals at Dean Close School. Using locally grown produce and meat that has also been reared locally.
