Year Two had a fantastic visit to the ‘Jet Age Museum’ on Tuesday 10th March, when they discovered more about the amazing history of flight.  The children were split into groups and were able to take part in a variety of activities – including going into a Trident cockpit and taking over the controls, being a navigator in a Vulcan Bomber and experiencing how fast they would need to be if they had to deploy an ejector seat!  They also looked at bi-planes from the 1940s and learnt about the first jet engines which were built in Gloucestershire.  The children loved the trip and came back having learnt lots of new information!
