Celebrating Speech Day 2024

Speech Day at Dean Close School was a fitting and memorable conclusion to an extraordinary year. The day was filled with joy and celebration, bringing together pupils, staff, and families to honor the achievements and talents of our incredible pupils.

We were privileged to have Hollywood film producer & director, and Dean Close parent, Simon West, as our guest speaker. His inspiring words left a lasting impression on everyone in attendance.

The festivities included a vibrant fun fair that provided endless entertainment

for all ages. The Bombernard Art Gallery showcased an impressive display of pupil artwork, reflecting the creativity and dedication of our young artists. Additionally, our PDT display highlighted the innovative projects and hard work of our pupils.

The day also featured a splendid Valedictory Concert, celebrating the musical talents of our pupils. The concert was a testament to their hard work and passion for the arts.

Adding to the excitement, we had a thrilling Quad Run, a spirited cricket match, and a competitive tennis match. These events underscored the spirit and camaraderie within the Dean Close community.

Speech Day was a true celebration of our pupils' accomplishments and the vibrant community spirit that defines Dean Close School. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who made this day so special.
