DCS Equestrian Team Impresses at NSEA Eventer Challenge

Our Dean Close School riders continued their remarkable season at the Dean Close sponsored NSEA Eventer Challenge, hosting over fifty schools for a competitive day of show jumping and cross-country. The national qualifying course proved technical and demanding, with twenty-one fences testing both skill and stamina.

On the 80–85cm course, Aoife and Fenella delivered outstanding performances. Their efforts, combined with support from DCPS riders, helped the team finish on a zero score, securing both the class win and qualification for the NSEA Eventer Challenge National Finals. Fenella also earned an individual third-place finish, guaranteeing her a spot at the National Finals.

Rose showcased remarkable bravery and determination on the challenging 1m track, completing a clear round to take the class win and book her place at the National Finals in May.

The event was a testament to the riders’ dedication, teamwork and competitive spirit, reinforcing Dean Close School’s strong presence in the national equestrian scene.
