Dean Close Prep Recognised as a STEER Champion School 2025

Dean Close Prep School is delighted to have been selected as a STEER Champion School 2025, in recognition of our consistently high-quality use of STEER Tracking across the past academic year.

This national award highlights schools that use the STEER programme with exceptional consistency and impact, ensuring pupils receive the very best support for their social-emotional development and wellbeing.

STEER Tracking is a pioneering tool which enables schools to monitor and strengthen pupils’ self-regulation, identify hidden social-emotional risks, and provide detailed, personalised support plans. At Dean Close Prep, our use of this tool has already made a significant difference, allowing us to step in early with effective interventions and to empower pupils to manage challenges with greater confidence.
