Talent on Display at the Dean Close House Solo Singing Competition

More than 30 pupils participated in the finals of this year's House Solo Singing Competition, with adjudicator and professional soprano Hannah Davey praising the exceptionally high standard of singing across all age groups. She was particularly impressed by our pupils' strong technique and confident stage presence.

The evening event for senior singers featured the Song Recital Cup, open to performers of above Grade 8 standard. It proved to be an incredibly close competition, with every pupil demonstrating remarkable skill, passion and talent.In the end, the trophy was awarded to Immy for her poised and elegant performances of songs by Rubbra and Grieg.
