Junior Debating Competition Decides Finalists
The heats of the Junior Debating Competition took place this week, showcasing an exceptionally high standard of debate on the motion: This House Would Ban Exams.
Pupils demonstrated impressive reasoning, confidence, and oracy skills throughout the rounds, engaging thoughtfully with a challenging and topical motion that encouraged wide ranging arguments on both sides.
Following a series of closely contested debates, congratulations go to Field, Hatherley, Brook Court, and Shelburne, who have successfully progressed to the final stage of the competition.
These houses will now compete for the trophy on 23rd June, with anticipation building for what promises to be a highly competitive and engaging final.
