Junior Drama Production Wows Audience with 'Our Day Out'

Just before half term, the Bacon Theatre was alive with energy and excitement as the Junior Drama production of 'Our Day Out' captivated audiences. The play, written by Will Russell, took viewers on a journey from inner-city squalor to the open air of Conway Castle, with stops at a disastrous zoo and a perilous beach trip along the way.

The action-packed, high-energy production not only provided plenty of laughs but also delivered some wonderfully poignant moments. The talented cast brought the story to life with exceptional performances that left a lasting impression on the audience.

Georgia stood out in her role as Carol, especially during her heartfelt rendition of ‘Why can’t it always be this way’ as her character stood on the clifftops questioning her future. Joshua delivered a memorable performance as the curmudgeonly Mr. Briggs, while Charlotte was irresistible as the optimistic Mrs. Kay.

The entire cast's dedication and professionalism shone through, making the production a resounding success. The school community is immensely proud of their achievements and the hard work that went into bringing this play to life.

Congratulations to everyone involved for making 'Our Day Out' a truly unforgettable experience.
