Pupils Bring Shaun the Sheep to Life with Aardman Animation Workshop

A group of our Remove and Sixth Form pupils recently took part in an exciting workshop as part of the Cheltenham Education Partnership, which began with a special screening of Shaun the Sheep the Movie.

The workshop offered pupils the chance to step into the world of animation by creating their very own Shaun characters, guided by professional animation techniques. This hands-on experience brought the creative process to life, showing just how much imagination and skill goes into developing characters on screen.

A highlight of the day was a talk from an experienced animator at Aardman Studios, who shared valuable insights about working in animation and the wide range of creative career opportunities available in the industry.

The workshop was a wonderful opportunity for our pupils to explore their creativity, collaborate with others, and gain a deeper understanding of animation from one of the UK’s leading studios.
