Talent on Display at Instrumental House Music Competition and Sherratt Cup

Our annual Instrumental House Music competition proved to be a huge success, showcasing the exceptional musical talent of 46 pupils competing for the coveted Wind and Brass, Strings, Piano, and overall Sherratt Cup trophies.

Held in the Helen Porter Hall, the event resonated with vibrant house music as pupils performed in a series of challenging knockout rounds throughout the afternoon.
After intense auditions, the finalists advanced to the final competition to win the prestigious Sherratt Cup, awarded only to the most accomplished instrumentalists.

The standard of performance was remarkably high, with every participant demonstrating impressive dedication and skill.

Determining this year’s winners was incredibly difficult, but in the end, Jonathan, Archie, Eddie, Leslie, and Ivan emerged as the distinguished winners of the Cup trophies.

Congratulations to all the performers for their outstanding performances.

This year’s competition highlighted the remarkable talent and dedication of Dean Close School’s music pupils, whose performances continue to inspire and exceed expectations.
