U14 Rugby Squad Triumph in Plate Final

We are incredibly proud to announce that our U14 rugby squad emerged as the winners of the Gloucestershire Plate Final after delivering an unforgettable performance in a gripping match against Katharine Lady Berkeley’s School.

From the first whistle to the final moments, they showcased determination, skill, and true team spirit with both sides playing exceptional rugby, keeping spectators on the edge of their seats. In a closely contested game, Dean Close secured a 21 to 19 win, a result that reflected the resilience and teamwork demonstrated by our pupils.

The match was a fantastic display of discipline, sportsmanship, and talent from both teams, highlighting the very best of school rugby. Every pupil involved should be incredibly proud of their effort and commitment on the day.
