It was a race against the clock as pupils in Years One and Two enjoyed a Maths relay as part of their Maths Fun Morning. Teams of children had to answer questions, with older Prep School pupils marking their answers and giving them thenext questions. Some of the problems included addition and subtraction, measuring, times tables, division and multiplication; quite a challenge as the youngest competitors were just six years old.

Years One and Two
continued to have fun
withsome exciting maths
activities, whilst the Early
Years enjoyed finding and
applying numbers in the
Forest School and in their
classrooms.

“Maths is such animportant foundation atthis age” explained Dr Shelley.“By making Maths exciting, fun and relevant we can help develop a love of Maths in pupils from an early age, building their confidence from the start!”
