Instructions for parents on how to set up the iSAMS Parent App (all parents)

Please click here to access a document explaining how parents can download the iSAMS Parent App and how to access the Parent Portal.

This Parent App gives instant access from your mobile device to a great deal of information about your child’s daily activities at school, including their timetable, reports, golden credits and sanctions, if they have any.

If you are a new parent to Dean Close and have not received an email detailing your Registration details to the Parent Portal, then do please contact our Database Manager on isams@deanclose.org.uk.

For existing parents, please use your normal login details associated with your Parent Portal Account.

Pupils’ Kit (all parents)

To enable pupils to look after their belongings, we would politely ask that:

  • Each weekend all pupils should clear the changing room of all their belongings.
  • Please could all children’s kit bags be checked each weekend to ensure they only have their own clothing.
  • All kit should be named. Larger labels make it considerably easier to return lost property and identify pupils who might be less well known to staff.
  • Iron-on name tags tend to become unattached and we would recommend a stitch in each corner to enable them to be fixed to clothing.
  • Pupils are encouraged to have a shower after the games session, particularly when they are wet/muddy.

Friday Pick up (all day parents)

Each Friday afternoon, pupils in Year 6, Year 7 and Year 8 may sign out at the front of school with Mr J. Harris, Deputy Head Logistics and Compliance to make the process of picking up pupils easier and quicker for parents. If parents in Year 6 would like to use this option please email the day house parents to let them know.
