Parents’ Society: Burns Night Supper – BOOK NOW
25 January 2019
Whilst we understand there is considerable interest in the forthcoming Burns Night Supper, the sale of tickets has been less than we would have hoped for at this stage. A decision will be made after the closing date for ticket requests (14th December) whether there is sufficient interest for us to hold the event and would therefore be grateful if you could let us know as soon as possible if you would like to purchase tickets and join us on 25 January by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible. The cost of the tickets can also be placed on your School Bill.
GCSE Revision & Trials Preparation
Revision Workshop & Online Materials
With the GCSE trials occurring straight after the Christmas holiday, 5th Formers have been focusing on Revision Strategies & Techniques to prepare effectively. By the end of term, all pupils will have participated in a Revision Workshop and discussed their preparation with tutors. Pupils have been encouraged to prepare a Revision Planner to organise their revision and should have this upon their return home. The Revision Workshop presentation, planner templates, examples of revision trackers, and more, can be accessed online at http://dcslibrary.com/revisionkit/. Good use of this early revision phase is hugely recommended and can be key to maximising success in the summer.
