We headed to the Lansdown for this year’s ‘One Year On’ Drinks. It was fantastic to see so many ODs back, sharing their experiences from their travels or their first year at university. We are looking forward to welcoming back this year’s leaversin 2015!

On Sunday 14th September, Dean Close Remembers at the Bacon Theatre. The gala memorial event celebrated the lives of the known 747 Old Decanians who fought in WW1. It featured musical and dramatic performances from Old Decanians, Senior and Prep School pupils, as they told the stories of their Dean Close forebears.

The magical 2014 form of the OD golfers continued at Denham GC on 25th July with another victory, retaining the Spa Trophy against the Old Cheltonians for the seventh successive year in the four ball better ball match.

OD Eddie Brecht (Tower, 2010) received The Queen’s Medal from the Chief of the General Staff, General Sir Peter Wall. The Queen’s Medal is awarded to the Officer Cadet who gains the highest scores in military, practical and academic subjects. Eddie is commissioning from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst into The Parachute Regiment.
