Lloyd Evans, who left Dean Close School last year, this week made his Gloucester debut and has been called up into the England U20 World Cup Squad. Having played previously for Gloucester in the LV Cup, last weekend Lloyd came off the bench for the final 20 minutes in a thrilling west country derby against Bath at the Recreation Ground. Director of Sport, Greg Baber-Williams said: “This time last year Lloyd was sitting his A2 exams, and now a year on he is playing with, and against, some of the best players in the rugby scene. This is a huge achievement and everyone at Dean Close is immensely proud of his achievements.”
