The Old Decanian Society awards up to eight grants of £150 per year to support projects, travel or physical challenges where there is benefit to the participating individual, and others.
Applications are accepted for projects no more than 12 months in advance and applications open on January 1st of each year. As the funding is from a limited pot, applying early increases your chances.
Who can apply?
We welcome applications from 6th formers applying for travel or activity to be undertaken after leaving school and Old Decanians that have left within the last ten years. For joint projects, we will only fund one individual.
Prior recipients of this grant cannot reapply. We will not accept resubmitted applications but do welcome new applications from the same person
You can NOT apply if:
You are in full time employment
You are looking for funds to cover living costs
Your project will only benefit you and show no potential for wider benefit
How does it work?
Complete the form below to apply.
Qualifying applications will be forwarded to the awarding committee and a decision will be made and communicated to applicants within three weeks.
If you have any queries or have a project that may not quite fit the above stated criteria, please contact the office on firstname.lastname@example.org or 01242 258048.
