School Councillors from each year group in each House are elected by their peers and aim to represent the views of all our pupils. I enjoy meeting them throughout the term to discuss matters as wide ranging as the role and usefulness of prefects and ambassadors around the School, to the design of covered, outdoor reading areas in the playground. Each of their suggestions is brought to the school’s management team for further discussion and then feedback is given. Successful recent action points have included an increase in the number of water fountains around the site and a re-think on the snacks offered in school packed lunches. I am very grateful to the school councillors, who are such an effective pupil voice and give their time to play an active part in making the School a better place for all.
