Housemistress and music teacher, Julie Kent, has recently become a trustee for the Pied Piper Appeal, a Gloucestershire charity which aims to transform the lives of sick and disabled children in the county.

To boost funds, Julie has brought together a group of Sixth Formers to help her raise £5,000 in this academic year. They call themselves ‘CAG’, which stands for Charity Action Group, and to date they have already organised a fundraising Black & White School Disco and a non-uniform day with cake sale. The Preparatory School also got on-board when they held a five hour Danceathon in the new Prep Hall.

So far CAG have put £1400 in their pot and are extremely keen and motivated to smash the £5000 challenge set by Mrs Kent. Further events planned before Christmas include a Race Night, Christmas Fayre and Ladies Breakfast. Watch this space to follow their progress….
