Day
Day pupils benefit from all that a thriving boarding school provides such as extensive facilities, co-curricular activities and strong pastoral care.
The broad timetable affords quality study time balanced with sport, drama, music, CCF, tutorials, competitions, and a range of clubs and societies scheduled each week.
Dean Close recognises the differing needs of a day pupil from the preparatory school onwards, which are accommodated through a Day House system. Every pupil belongs to a House, being their main social and pastoral base. Each House has pupils from mixed age groups and are cared for by a Housemaster or mistress who has overall responsibility for their welfare and progress.
