On the last morning of term, the Pre-Prep held an exciting Easter Fun morning at school – it was made all the more dramatic by coinciding with the solar eclipse. Having purchased solar glasses for all the children and adults in the school, we all went outside and were rewarded by being one of the few places in the UK to see the eclipse as it happened. The children were thrilled – especially our Year 2 pupils whose topic of ‘Space’ was rounded off perfectly by this solar event!
Following this excitement, all classes then took part in Easter activities in the classroom, including creating Easter bunnies, Easter magnets, designing Easter eggs and Easter baskets. The morning finished with an Easter treasure hunt for all children – a great time was had by all!
