Pre-Prep pupils enjoyed a wonderful Autumn WOW Day on Wednesday 14th October in beautiful autumn sunshine.  Everyone came to school in autumn colours and the whole day was dedicated to a wide range of exciting activities both outside and inside school, involving every child from age 2  to  Year Two!   The day ensured we put plenty of ‘WOW’ into our learning about Autumn,  going for autumn science discovery walks, taking part in the ‘Squirrel Trail’ and spending time in our lovely Forest School.    Some of the captivating activities included printing using autumn vegetables, creating hedgehog sculptures in Forest School, taking part in autumn numeracy activities, creating autumn collages, and writing brilliant autumn acrostic poems – what a very busy and exciting day!

The children had a wonderful time, learning about autumn across the curriculum, linking curriculum areas together and producing some amazing work as a result. Well done, Squirrels!
