What a performance from Dean Close Prep School at this year’s Summer Extravaganza. The dare devil gymnastics hadus all holding our breath, as they sailed through the air with skill and accuracy.

The acting and reciting of poetry was excellent. The audience were enthralled, enchanted and entertained by performances of “The Witch and the AA Man” , recited by Zach Brooks, Sam Brown and Niamh Salisbury and a convincing performance of “Mafia Cats”, where the audience all enjoyed an unexpected twist at the end.

The ballet was enchanting, complemented by beautiful costumes and everyone was tapping their toes to Reet Petite, by the Swing Band. The children did fantastically to remember so many routines!

Supported by an orchestra of accomplished musicians, who played faultlessly throughout, as well as, taking centre stage themselves – with the “Dambusters March.”

Each and every choir sang with joy and enthusiasm, a fabulous performance from the Schola Cantorum, who each donned a pair of very stylish sunglasses for their performance of “The Heavenly Aeroplane.” A great rendition of Double Trouble, taken from the Witches scene, from Macbeth and finally, alively performance of “We go together” from the Senior Choir.

What an evening’s entertainment! We certainly have the X factor here at Dean Close School. A huge well done to all the children and staff that put so much work into such a fantastic evening.
