Our annual Dance Show in May was entitled ‘My Book of Rhymes’ and pupils performed to an excited audience of parents and friends. This year, for the first time, we were able to include our tap dancers having just purchased a tap floor to protect the hall’s wooden floor. The show was wonderful and the audience were delighted to see characters coming out of the ‘Book of Rhymes’ including little ‘stars’ twinkling away, tap dancers marching and dancing to ‘The Grand Old Duke’, Polly putting the kettle on, fishermen in ‘1,2,3,4,5’ and Incy Wincy Spider among other famous nursery rhyme characters!

The tap dancers were a great addition and everyone loved the finale which included all the dancers.

The children danced with great enjoyment and confidence and delighted the audience. Well done to all the children who took part, and thank you to our wonderful dance teachers from the Janet Marshall School of Dance, Miss Emma and Miss Lauren, and to their team of helpers on the day.
