With Christmas in full swing at Dean Close Pre-Prep, we took time to think of children and families less fortunate than ourselves.  Our families joined in a Salvation Army collection in conjunction with Gloucestershire Social Services to ensure every child in our area will receive a present this Christmas.  The parents of one of our pupils made the suggestion and as a School, we were only too delighted to support.  Donations of new unwrapped presents were made, ready for wrapping and giving to needy families.  It was a wonderful way for children to get involved and understand that we can help others in a practical way.

In addition to this, in the last week of term we enjoyed our wonderful Christingle service and held a retiring collection in aid of The Children’s Society who work with children across the country.  We were delighted to collect £162.46 towards their wonderful work.
