This is just a very short message to thank all our pupils and parents for the fantastic support you have given us this term. It has challenged us all, but it has been so encouraging to receive your positive feedback throughout this period. We wish all of you a healthy and happy summer.
Music Concert
Drama – Stay HOME
Our Drama pupils have out together this fantastic improvised piece of drama for our entertainment.
Shakespeare in Lockdown
Please look out for our 5th and final episode of Shakespeare in Lockdown, which will be published next week.
Book Returns
Any pupil who is needing to return textbooks can do so by dropping them off in the Front Office from Monday 22 June. This is particularly relevant to pupils in the 5th and Upper 6th Form. There will be a sign off sheet that will need to be completed.
Timing: 10am to 12noon, and 2pm to 4pm, Monday to Friday from 22 June
Where: Front Office
CCF Uniform Returns
Those leaving school or who do not intend to continue with CCF next year will need to hand in their uniforms. Those unable to attend can do so in September. It would be helpful if it could be bagged up and labelled as well. Pupils will need to hand in the following items:
- Beret and Badge
- Combat jacket or Foul Weather Jacket
- Combat Shirt or Shirt
- RAF or RN Jumper
- Trousers
- Rank Slide
- Belt
Pupils do not need to hand back their T shirt or Boots.

Careers
Following a week of careers oriented activities, all members of the Lower 6th have now had the opportunity to register on UCAS, start writing their Personal Statement and create a CV.
The Lower 6th should use the summer months to continue to work on their post A Level plans and use the resources which are available via the https://dcslibrary.com/post18 section of the Library website.
Also attached is the contact information for Mrs Emma Goodman. Emma has worked with Dean Close on interview skills and related areas for many years and is a well-regarded authority when it comes to employability skills.

Hockey Coaching Camps
We are delighted to advertise the following opportunities for pupils to develop their hockey skills during the Summer holidays. There are 2 separate camps, one in July and one in August as well as the opportunity to have 1 to 1 coaching sessions.
