The Library and Careers department have put together an incredible programme of events to help Upper Sixth pupils prepare for life beyond school. The program includes an external speaker lecture series, with talks on future career opportunities, how to stay safe at university and personality and leadership. There is wealth of advice and guidance on everything from Student Finance to cooking and career advice to making the most of the university experience. It also includes an extensive range of academic seminars, delivered by Dean Close teachers in areas designed to inspire and challenge pupils further and get them used the Higher Education style of teaching and learning.
We are thrilled to be able to deliver such an extensive program to help support with the transition from school to beyond, at a time that makes these next steps somewhat more difficult than usual.
